Charles (Chay) has over twenty-three years experience in the Workforce Management, Computer Services and Software Development industries having joined Computer Horizons Corp. (CHC) in 1985. He served in multiple sales and recruiting management roles for CHC overseeing regional solution and staffing sales while coordinating the company’s Quality Operating System development and related certifications.
He became Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for CHC subsidiary Chimes in 2000, a pioneer in the workforce management industry focused on supply chain management software and services to Fortune 1000 companies. The organization grew from start-up to managing more than $2B in spend for the largest organizations in the world when it was sold in 2007.
He has run multi-million dollar sales and operations organizations within the computer services industry for both public and private technology companies. He has managed various quality efforts, including Quality process certification at major automobile manufacturers and subsequently at Computer Horizons Corp. through the ISO 9000 certification process utilizing proprietary product managed and developed software.
Chay has spoken at many professional technology and workforce management conferences regarding innovative trends in the staffing and technology industry including resource staffing, supply chain management and independent contractor classification topics. He possesses a Bachelors of Business Administration with emphasis in Marketing and Journalism from Eastern Michigan University.
